The Leaves of Grass Project
Most bookstores will have either the
first or last edition of Leaves of Grass; those editions in
between can only be found in expensive used copies, or excerpted and
dissected in studies and biographies. The goal of the Leaves
of Grass Project, then, is to reprint and make readily available the
eight major editions of Leaves of Grass: namely, the 1855,
1856, 1860, 1867, 1871, 1876, 1881, 1892 editions.
